This throw line is intended to be thrown to and rescue a person who has fallen overboard. The line is 28 m long, has a diameter of 5 mm, and is supplied in a fluorescent bag, which makes the equipment easier to locate on board.
The line is made of Levilene and has an end loop that provides a secure grip on the line. Before throwing, the opposite end of the line must be securely tied to the boat's railing so that a connection is maintained between the boat and the person in the water.
The throw line is supplied complete with a storage bag. The bag keeps the line tidy and ready for use when stored in an easily accessible place on board.
A separate stainless steel holder, item no. 22.408.09, can be used for storing and mounting this throw line. The holder is not included.
