Rectangular blackwater tank in rigid polyethylene with a nominal capacity of 130 l for the collection of blackwater and wastewater in maritime sanitary systems. The rigid, rectangular construction is intended for permanent installation on board.
The tank is manufactured from blue PE-MD, also known as medium-density polyethylene. The thick polyethylene moldings limit the penetration of unpleasant odors and make the tank suitable for storing maritime wastewater.
The product dimensions are 880 × 500 × 300 mm, distributed across a footprint of 880 × 500 mm and a height of 300 mm. The rectangular shape provides a regular format, which makes it easier to plan the placement in the boat's sanitary installation.
On the two end surfaces, there are internal threaded connections in sizes 3/4" and 1 1/2". The connections are intended for the system's supply, emptying, and ventilation. During installation, the tank's ventilation must have a diameter of at least 20 mm. Fittings in nylon or metal with the appropriate thread dimension can be used.
The tank is manufactured and pneumatically tested in accordance with ISO 8099. The documented pneumatic test pressure is 0.25 bar, equivalent to 25 kPa; the value is a test pressure and not a specified maximum working pressure.
The product is manufactured by RPM Italia Srl and is intended specifically for blackwater and wastewater. Check space availability, thread dimensions, and ventilation routing before installation.
