This RINA-approved ship's bell in polished brass has a bell mouth diameter of 210 mm and is intended for manual sound signaling on vessels from 12 to 20 m. It can be used on both pleasure craft and commercial vessels.
The bell is manufactured from brass in accordance with UNI 5035 and features a mirror-polished finish. The Foresti & Suardi model 2.106 is classified as sound signaling equipment and delivers a sound pressure of approximately 112 dB at a nominal frequency of 900 Hz.
The included bayonet bracket makes the bell detachable from the mounting point. A bell clapper is included, ensuring the bell comes with the essential parts for manual activation and signaling.
The ship's bell is covered by RINA type approval ELE215118CS with reference to the International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea (COLREG 1972). The combination of the detachable mount, polished brass construction, and documented vessel class makes it suitable as permanent sound signaling equipment on board.
