This Riviera Aries 2½″ bayonet-mount magnetic compass is a non-flush-mount navigation compass for boats. This variant features a black compass card and a white and blue housing, and it is mounted on a flat, horizontal surface.
The compass has direct front reading, a 2½″/65 mm visible compass card, and 5° graduation markings. The pivot and jewel bearing support the movement of the compass card, while the anti-glare screen improves readability under varying light conditions.
The bayonet mount allows the compass to be installed without the need for a flush instrument cutout. The base has a diameter of 100 mm. The model is intended for standard boats and high-speed crafts and is factory-balanced for magnetic zone A, which primarily covers the northern hemisphere.
This variant is supplied without lighting and therefore has no electrical connection, operating voltage, or power consumption. The Aries series is manufactured in Italy and comes with a 3-year manufacturer's warranty.
