Riviera IDRA compact magnetic compass is a bracket-mounted navigation compass with a black housing and black compass card. Its compact design is intended for marine navigation and can be used on both sailing and motor boats.
The compass features front reading with 5° graduations, allowing the course to be read directly from the helm. The internal semi-cardanic gimbal suspension ensures a stable and easy-to-read display during the boat's movements.
The built-in LED night illumination is powered by 12 V and makes the compass card visible when sailing in the dark. This variant is supplied with a mounting bracket for placement on a suitable surface at the helm or instrument console.
The compass should be mounted away from magnetic fields and moving ferrous objects that could affect the course reading. Check the supply voltage before connecting the LED wires. After installation, the compass should be checked and, if necessary, compensated by a qualified professional.
