Riviera Stella 2½″ magnetic compass BS1 is a magnetic marine compass for surface mounting on a boat's console or deck. This variant features a blue compass card, a grey housing, and a visible compass card diameter of 65 mm.
The compass features direct front reading and a compass card with graduations every 5°. The needle/jewel bearing with pivot movement and liquid damping stabilize the display, while the anti-glare screen reduces distracting reflections during reading. An integrated expansion chamber handles any air bubbles in the compass fluid.
The BS1 model is mounted with a bayonet fitting on a surface and does not require a large instrument cutout. The bayonet plate makes the compass removable, and the mounting part is included. The total outer dimensions are 88 mm in width and 70 mm in height.
The model is intended for both standard boats and high-speed boats. Its compact design makes it suitable for placement on a console or deck where a traditional magnetic compass with clear front reading is desired.
The compass is manufactured in Italy and comes with a three-year warranty. The Riviera manufacturer number for this BS1 variant with a grey housing and blue compass card is 62.00354.02.
