This Riviera Stella 2½″ magnetic compass, model BS2, is a bracket-mounted boat compass with a white housing and a white compass card. It is designed for direct front reading on both standard and high-speed boats.
The visible compass card has a diameter of 65 mm (2½″), with graduations every 5° and numbering every 30°. The clear graduation makes it simple to read the course directly from the helm.
The compass is constructed with a gimbal system, an anti-glare screen, and an expansion chamber for any air bubbles. The anti-glare screen reduces distracting reflections over the compass card and supports a more unobstructed reading.
The BS2 version is supplied with a mounting bracket. The compass has a maximum outer width of 111 mm and a maximum height of 120 mm. The manufacturer's part number is 62.00367.04.
The model is handmade in Italy and comes with a 3-year manufacturer's warranty. It is intended for navigation within 6 nautical miles without the requirement for separate product approval; this is not a MED or Wheelmark type approval.
