This Riviera Stella 2½″ magnetic compass in the BS1 version is a fixed-mount marine compass for navigation on boats. This variant features a black compass card, a black housing, and a visible compass card diameter of 65 mm (2½″).
The compass has direct front reading and a compass card with 5° graduation, allowing the heading to be read in precise intervals. The pivot/jewel suspension supports the movement of the compass card, while the anti-glare screen reduces annoying reflections when reading.
The BS1 model is installed using a bayonet mount. The compass is equipped with an air trap to manage any air bubbles and is intended for both high-speed boats and standard vessels.
The housing has a maximum width of 88 mm, and the total height is 70 mm. These dimensions describe the compass itself, while the 65 mm indicates the diameter of the visible compass card.
The compass is manufactured in Italy and comes with a three-year manufacturer's warranty. The manufacturer's part number for the black BS1 variant is 62.00058.02.
