This Riviera Stella 2½″ magnetic compass in BS2 configuration is a maritime steering and navigation compass with direct front reading. This variant features a blue compass card, grey housing, and bracket mounting, and is designed for both conventional and high-speed boats.
The visible compass card has a diameter of 65 mm (2½″) and 5° graduations. The needle/pivot suspension supports the movement of the compass card, while the anti-glare screen reduces distracting reflections during reading. A built-in expansion chamber manages any air bubbles in the compass.
The BS2 is mounted with a bracket so the compass can be positioned for direct reading from the helm. The product's maximum width is 111 mm, and the maximum height is 120 mm. The manufacturer number for this grey and blue variant is 62.00355.02.
The compass is handcrafted in Italy and comes with a 3-year manufacturer's warranty. It is designed as a standalone magnetic marine compass with no requirement for engine-specific or boat-brand-specific compatibility.
