Riviera Zenith BZ2 3″ high-speed compass with bracket in model BZ2/AV is a magnetic steering compass for high-speed boats. This variant has a black housing, a black flat compass card, and an apparent compass card diameter of 3″/80 mm.
The compass card has 5° graduations and rear reading. An anti-glare screen improves readability, while the internal gimbal suspension keeps the compass oriented during boat movement.
The built-in LED lighting is powered by 12 V and has a blue light color. Check the vessel's mains voltage before connecting the two lighting wires.
The compass is mounted with a bracket and has built-in manual magnetic compensation. It should be placed as far as possible from magnetic fields and moving ferrous objects. After installation, compensation must be performed professionally; the compensation screws are accessed through the lower transverse holes. The standard calibration is magnetic zone A.
The BZ2 design measures approx. 155 mm in width, 147 mm in height, and 124 mm in depth, including the bracket. The compass is made in Italy and designed to be repairable. The manufacturer's warranty is 3 years from the production date under the applicable warranty terms.
For regular maintenance, clean the compass with a soft cloth dampened with fresh water. Repairs must be performed by the manufacturer to maintain warranty coverage.
