This red copper battery cable with synthetic resin insulation is intended for electrical battery connections in marine installations. The cable is supplied on a 24 m roll and has a conductor cross-section of 16 mm².
The copper conductor is rated for a maximum continuous current of 75 A. The outer cable diameter is 8.7 mm, while the thickness of the insulating sheath is 1.7 mm.
The cable has a red, insulating synthetic resin sheath. It is manufactured in accordance with EC requirements for use in the bilge and sump area of boats.
When installing, cable lugs must be selected according to the cable cross-section of 16 mm² and the actual bolt or stud diameter. Cable lug item no. 14.035.16 has a hole diameter of 6.4 mm, while item no. 14.035.17 has a hole diameter of 8.3 mm. Both are rated for 16 mm² cable.
For crimping suitable cable lugs, crimping tool 14.035.30 can be used. The tool has a working range of 10-120 mm². Cable lugs and tool are not included.
