This round CE-approved inspection hatch with cover is a black built-in hatch that provides access to areas behind decks, panels, and other mounting surfaces on recreational craft.
The hatch is manufactured from ASA and features a flush design with a twist-lock mechanism. The cover's non-slip surface is suitable for placement on areas where secure footing is important.
The maximum external diameter is 265 mm, while the mounting cutout must be Ø215 mm. The clear opening is 190 mm, and the hole spacing is 242 mm. The measurements indicate the product diameter, access opening, and mounting dimensions, respectively – not length and width.
The hatch is CE type-examined according to Directive 2013/53/EU and standard UNI EN ISO 12216:2004. The approval covers recreational craft in design categories A, B, C, and D, as well as installation areas IIa, III, and IV.
The construction is classified with tightness rating 2 and tested at a hydraulic pressure of 14 kPa. The tightness rating is a separate classification and should not be confused with an IP rating.
EC type-examination certificate 1332/20/UE/C covers this variant. The CE marking is permanently embossed on both the cover and the frame.
