Round waterproof inspection hatch with screw-on lid in grey polypropylene, RAL 7042, provides access to enclosed inspection and maintenance areas on boats and other marine equipment. The nominal size is 5", and the clear opening measures Ø 125 mm.
The hatch has a removable lid with a screw closure. A rubber O-ring provides a seal between the lid and base, and the construction is rated as 100% waterproof. This makes the hatch suitable for use where the closed access opening must be protected against water ingress.
The outer diameter is Ø 172 mm. The flange or base is screwed onto the mounting surface, while the inspection opening is opened and closed by turning the lid. A guide for the mounting cutout of Ø 138 mm is provided for this variant; always verify the measurement physically before cutting into decks, bulkheads, or fixtures.
