This stainless steel plate with safety wire and spring-loaded folding pin for canopy fittings is designed for the quick removal of boat canopies, sprayhoods, and similar canopy structures. The set consists of a plate, a safety wire, and a stainless locking pin.
The spring-loaded, foldable locking tab mechanically secures the pin after installation. When the canopy needs to be removed, the locking tab is folded down, allowing the pin to be pulled out of the fork-shaped canopy fitting.
The safety wire has a diameter of 1.6 mm and secures the pin to the fitting, preventing it from being easily lost during handling. The plate, wire, and pin are made of stainless steel for use in maritime environments.
