This Sail Pro self-inflating life jacket has a nominal buoyancy of 180 N and is manufactured in accordance with EN ISO 12402-3. The life jacket combines automatic hydrostatic Hammar inflation with an integrated safety harness certified according to ISO 12401.
The hydrostatic trigger is designed to reduce the risk of accidental inflation caused by rain, spray, and other surface water. The system is linked to the Hammar MA1 system and automatically activates the life jacket upon submersion.
The design is 25% more compact than traditional self-inflating life jackets. The reduced bulk provides greater freedom of movement while working on board. An integrated crotch strap helps keep the life jacket properly positioned when in use.
The black outer cover features an automatic zipper opening. This construction is lighter and less bulky, and faster to open and close than traditional outer covers with Velcro.
A 38 g service kit with Hammar valve, item no. 22.395.11, can be used for the life jacket's 180 N system. The life jacket can also be supplemented with a fluorescent spray hood 22.394.10 and an automatic electronic signal light 22.409.23. Mounting clip 22.409.27 is used to attach the signal light to the life jacket's oral inflation tube.
Regularly check the Hammar system's status indicator and expiry date, and always follow the life jacket's service and maintenance instructions.
