This Scanstrut Aluminum PowerTower 150 mm radar and antenna mount in black is a fixed, aft-leaning pedestal for mounting compatible radomes and smaller satellite antennas. The mount raises the equipment 150 mm above the mounting surface, reducing obstructions and improving the radar's view of the horizon.
The PowerTower mount is manufactured from marine-grade aluminum and features a glossy, durable finish with a polyester powder coating and a four-step marine painting system. The construction tilts 25° aft and is intended for fixed surface mounting on, among other things, cabin roofs, T-tops, flybridges, or radar arches. The top plate measures approx. 290 × 280 mm, while the base plate measures 177.8 × 177.8 mm.
The integrated Scanstrut DS30 cable seal provides internal, watertight cable routing. The split cable seals allow existing connectors to be routed through the system without cutting them off. The blank insert can be drilled for cable diameters of approx. 2–22 mm, and correct installation can be performed without marine sealant. External cable routing is also possible using the included blanking plug and weather seal.
The mounting surface requires a feed-through hole of Ø50 mm; a hole saw of Ø50–52 mm is recommended. The base's hole pattern has a center distance of 127 × 127 mm, and the mounting holes are drilled to Ø8.5 mm. The mount is installed with four M8 bolts of at least 25 mm, which must be selected according to the surface and are not included. The radar or antenna is attached directly to the pre-drilled top plate.

Delivery includes the PowerTower mount, DS30 housing and insert kit, foam gasket, cable grommet, blanking plug, weather seal, four M6 × 16 mm screws, four M4 × 10 mm screws, and eight M8 nylon washers. The mount can be upgraded with the black central light bar APT-LB-01-BLK. The PT3010 4° base wedge can be used to correct the radar angle when the boat is traveling with the bow raised. The product has a 3-year warranty and should be checked regularly for loose parts or damage.
