This camera mounting plate from Scanstrut is a raised adapter and mounting plate for the Modular Dual PowerTower system. It is designed for mounting FLIR M-Series cameras or searchlights and consolidates the equipment on the system's top mounting position.
The mounting plate is manufactured from aluminium with a white powder-coated finish. The construction consists of a bottom mounting plate, two angled support struts, and a partially rounded top mounting plate. The total construction measures 173 mm in length, 120 mm in width, and 60 mm in installed height, while the plate itself is 5 mm thick.
The top plate has several pre-drilled holes and slots for compatible camera and light equipment. The mounting geometry includes diameter references of Ø100 mm and Ø88.90 mm, linear references of 54 mm, 59.32 mm, and 68.50 mm, as well as hole diameters of Ø4.80 mm, Ø5.50 mm, Ø6.50 mm, and Ø7.20 mm.
The plate is part of the Modular Dual PowerTower, which is a modular marine mounting system for the compact assembly of several types of marine electronics. This variant, model DPT-C-PLATE-01, is specifically intended for the top mounting of a camera or searchlight and has no electrical function.
