Scanstrut Aluminium PowerTower for Starlink Flat High-Performance is a marine antenna mount that raises the antenna 150 mm above the mounting surface. It can be installed on a boat's roof, T-top, flybridge, or radar arch, with the design helping to clear the antenna of obstructions.
The wedge-shaped top holds the Starlink antenna at an 8° tilt. The top plate features pre-drilled holes, allowing the antenna to be attached directly to the mount. The PowerTower has a tower rake of 65° and must be mounted in the specified forward-facing direction.
The mount is manufactured from marine-grade aluminium and protected by a 4-step marine paint system. The white model, APT-150-SL-01, has a maximum overall length of 426.2 mm, a width of 340 mm, and an overall height of 238.4 mm. The base plate measures 177.8 × 177.8 mm, and the mounting holes have a hole centre distance of 127 × 127 mm.
The integrated DS30 cable seal allows the Starlink cable to be routed through the installation without removing or cutting the connectors. The included cable insert has an Ø 8.5 mm hole, while the installation manual specifies a deck cutout of Ø 50 mm. More than 600 mm of free cable length through the seal is recommended.
Mounting to the boat's surface requires four Ø 8.5 mm mounting holes as well as four M8 bolts with a length of at least 25 mm. The mounting bolts are not included and must be selected based on the mounting surface. The base gasket and cable seal allow for proper installation without separate marine sealant. Threadlocker is among the required installation materials.
The delivery includes a foam base gasket, DS30 cable seal housing, two cable inserts, four M4 × 10 mm bolts, eight M8 nylon shoulder washers, four A4 stainless steel washers, four ¼ × ⅝ inch hex socket screws, and a blanking plug. The optional light and antenna bar APT-LB-01 can be mounted on the back of the PowerTower but is not included. The product has a 3-year warranty and should be checked regularly for damage and loose parts.
