Scanstrut ROKK waterproof dual USB charging socket in the Charge Pro edition is a flush-mount 12/24 V DC charging socket with one USB-A port and one USB-C port. The compact, low-profile design is developed for navigation, marine installations, and other areas where panel space is limited.
The two ports can charge up to two devices simultaneously. The USB-C port delivers up to 36 W on a 12 V system and up to 60 W on a 24 V system. The USB-A port delivers up to 36 W, depending on the device, cable, and charging protocol. QC and PD charging protocols are supported, and full 60 W USB-C charging requires 24 V input as well as a compatible device and a suitable cable.
The hinged click-and-lock lid protects the connections with zero, one, or two cables installed. The IPX6 rating makes the charging socket suitable for washdowns and exposed outdoor installations, but not for submersion. The rating assumes correct installation on a completely flat, smooth, and non-porous surface.
The construction features metal parts in AISI 316 stainless steel, UV-resistant plastic parts, and a circuit board with a salt-resistant, anti-corrosion coating. The front measures 39 × 94 mm with the lid closed and extends 29 mm above the mounting surface. With the lid fully open, the total length is 152 mm, and the maximum height above the panel is 47 mm.
Installation is performed through a Ø29 mm panel hole with a required installation depth of approx. 58 mm. The socket can be mounted in panels with a thickness of 3–25 mm and is secured with the included gasket, locking ring, and No. 6 × 16 screw. The screw hole is placed 43.5 mm from the center of the mounting hole. A 2.5 mm pilot hole is recommended in soft materials and 3 mm in hard materials.
The charging socket must be connected to a 12 or 24 V DC battery source with correct polarity and a suitable fuse or circuit breaker. It must be mounted in a ventilated area, securely above the waterline, and without risk of submersion or direct heat radiation. The product is not intended for explosive or flammable areas.
