This watertight multi-cable bulkhead seal is a Scanstrut TBH-10 cable seal for securely routing up to 10 electrical cables through a bulkhead. It is designed for cables with a diameter of 5–7 mm per cable and provides an IP67-rated seal when installed correctly.
The seal is manufactured from high-strength molded nylon and features an internal overmolded seal. The design is mechanically compressed around the cable bundle to retain the cables, reducing strain on the seal and maintaining its integrity. It can be used for applications such as power and control cables for windlasses or cables for navigation equipment.
The external diameter is 71 mm, while the pass-through section measures Ø 63 mm. Installation requires a Ø 60 mm hole and is suitable for bulkheads with a thickness of 10–35 mm. The protrusion on the cap side is 41 mm in the fully tightened position and 50 mm in the open position.
Installation can be performed by one person with access from only one side of the bulkhead. The cable holes are pierced through the membrane during installation, after which the appropriate strain relief insert is selected based on the total diameter of the cable bundle. The design does not require separate mounting screws through the bulkhead.
The included configuration options cover cable bundles of Ø 10–20 mm, Ø 20–30 mm, and Ø 30–38 mm. Installation requires a Ø 60 mm hole saw, a drill, a 62 mm wrench, and a 3 mm screwdriver for piercing the cable holes. The product comes with a 3-year warranty.
