Schenker UV water purification system for under-sink mounting is a 24 V freshwater treatment system in the Schenker UV series. The UV Purifier 24 model combines UV LED treatment with two filter stages and is designed for installation in a pressurized freshwater system before the point of use.
The water is passed through an activated carbon filter and a 5-micron sediment filter before UV treatment. The sediment filter retains particles and sediment, while the activated carbon filter improves the taste and other organoleptic properties of the water. The UV LED unit reduces the potential bacterial load in the water.
The UV LED lamp is activated automatically when water flows through the system. This means that the lamp does not need to be in continuous operation. The variant has a power consumption of 18 W and a rated flow rate of 12 l/min. The system can be used in pressurized water systems with a flow of up to 14 l/min.
The inlet and outlet are 1/2″, while the operating range is 0.5–8 bar and the operating temperature is 0–45 °C. The unit measures 389 mm in width, 112 mm in depth, and 291 mm in height. It is designed for mounting on a vertical surface in a base cabinet or a similar installation space under the sink.
A typical installation places the activated carbon filter, the 5-micron filter, and the UV sterilizer in the water line before the point of use. Ball valves and pipe fittings may be included in the installation layout, but are not documented as included parts.
