This AM/FM marine antenna from Scout is a short and flexible radio antenna for all boat types. Model KS-100 features a 25 cm antenna whip and is designed for stable radio reception on board, even while sailing.
The antenna whip is made of UV-resistant vinyl plastic with an anti-UV filter, which prevents color fading. The flexible construction makes the antenna resistant to impacts, while the glossy white finish blends discreetly with most boat installations.
The whip can be unscrewed from the base manually without the use of tools. This makes it practical for trailering, covering the boat, and winter storage. The waterproof mounting base has an internal rubber gasket that prevents water ingress through the mounting point.
The antenna is supplied with a 4 m AM/FM cable and jack plug. It is mounted on a surface with the included mounting kit, which includes three screws. The documented frequency range is 88–108 MHz, and the impedance is 75 ohms.
A separate Scout KS-100 S replacement antenna whip with manufacturer no. PF AN NAMFM002 can be used as a documented spare part for the KS-100. The manufacturer number for the antenna itself is PF AN NAMFM001, and the product comes with a 2-year warranty.
