This Security 150 N self-inflating life jacket is an adult model with automatic hydrostatic release. The life jacket is classified according to EN ISO 12402-3 and includes an integrated safety harness and crotch strap.
The mounted HAMMAR MA1 inflator activates automatic inflation via hydrostatic pressure when the life jacket is submerged at least 15 cm underwater. The design reduces the risk of accidental inflation due to rain, sea spray, waves, or high humidity. The inflator can also be activated manually using the pull cord.
The inflation system uses a 33 g CO₂ cylinder. The cylinder is protected inside the inflatable bladder and is permanently attached to the firing unit, preventing it from unscrewing accidentally. The HAMMAR MA1 features a status indicator, where green shows that the inflator is ready for use, while red indicates that it must be replaced.
The integrated safety harness complies with ISO 12401 and allows for secure attachment on board. The crotch strap helps keep the vest correctly positioned on the adult user during use.

Among other things, check that the status indicator is green, that the inflator's printed expiry date has not been exceeded, and that the CO₂ cylinder is of the correct weight and free of damage. Inspection must be performed by an authorized center according to the instructions in the vest. The maximum stated service life is 10 years from the production date.
