Self-supporting ventilation sail for side portholes directs outdoor air through an open side porthole and into the boat's interior. It fits side portholes measuring 30–40 cm and creates natural ventilation without the use of electricity.
The conical design captures and directs the air inside, even in light winds. The construction is made of nylon fabric and stiffened with a self-supporting batten or slat, which keeps the ventilation sail in shape during use.
The ventilation sail is designed for quick mounting and removal on an open side porthole. When unfolded, it measures 50 cm in length, 20 cm in width, and 20 cm in height.
After use, the ventilation sail can be folded down to Ø 24 × 1 cm. A compact storage bag is included, so it takes up minimal space when stored on board.
