SKIPPER ONE Propylene Glycol Antifreeze is an environmentally friendly, ready-to-use antifreeze for winterizing the external raw water cooling system of boat engines and the boat's wastewater systems. The product is based on propylene glycol and protects the system against frost and corrosion during winter storage.
The antifreeze is supplied pre-mixed and ready for use. The product must be used undiluted to achieve the specified frost protection down to -35°C and is suitable for the annual winter preparation of boats with raw water-cooled engine installations.
The formulation is based on propylene glycol and is free from MEG (monoethylene glycol). The product also contains corrosion inhibitors, which help to protect the materials and components that the fluid comes into contact with during winter storage.
For winterizing boat engines
SKIPPER ONE Propylene Glycol Antifreeze is used for winterizing the engine's external raw water cooling system. Before adding the antifreeze, the raw water circuit should be flushed thoroughly with fresh water while the engine is run up to normal operating temperature.

Flush with fresh water: Thoroughly flush the engine's external raw water cooling system with fresh water. Let the engine run until it reaches normal operating temperature.

Add antifreeze: Add SKIPPER ONE Propylene Glycol Antifreeze undiluted to the engine's external raw water cooling system.

Distribute the antifreeze: Let the engine run briefly so that the antifreeze is distributed through the entire raw water circuit.

Stop the engine: Stop the engine once the antifreeze has been circulated through the system. The product can remain in the external raw water cooling system during winter storage.
Also for wastewater systems
SKIPPER ONE Propylene Glycol Antifreeze can also be used for winterizing the boat's wastewater system. Drain and flush the system before winterizing, and ensure that the antifreeze passes through the relevant pumps, hoses, and components that need to be protected against frost.
Important – not for the engine's internal cooling system
The product is intended for winterizing engines' external raw water cooling systems and the boat's wastewater systems.
The product must not be used as coolant in the engine's internal/closed cooling system. For the engine's internal cooling circuit, a coolant that meets the engine manufacturer's specifications must be used.
