Description

Foam polishing pad in orange, medium-firm foam for applying and working with abrasive and polishing compounds. The pack contains two round pads with a diameter of 150 mm and a specified dimension format of 150 × 30 mm.

The medium-firm foam construction provides less aggressive processing than the associated wool pads. The pads have a flat surface and are intended for controlled polishing, where the chosen abrasive or polishing compound determines the effect of the treatment.

The pads can be used as accessories for Heavy 1000 with item no. 65.220.10, Medium 1500 with item no. 65.221.05 and 65.221.10, as well as Heavy 600 with item no. 65.227.00 and 65.227.02. These combinations are intended for the treatment of, among other things, oxidized or yellowed gelcoat, soft or colored gelcoat, painted surfaces, and hulls after coarser sanding or repair.

When used with the verified abrasive and polishing compounds, a machine speed of 800–1,500 rpm is used. This speed is an application guideline for the specific combinations and not a maximum rated speed for the pad itself.
