This brass seawater filter for engine cooling is designed for filtering raw water in the cooling water supply for marine engines. This variant features a G 1/2" threaded connection and a cup-shaped design with one opening on the side and one opening at the bottom.
The brass housing contains a washable stainless steel filter element that retains impurities in the cooling water. The transparent, screw-on polycarbonate lid allows for visual inspection of the filter element without first opening the filter.
The filter housing measures Ø 75 mm and has a height of 100 mm. A swivel mounting bracket in stainless steel allows for adjusting the filter's position during installation. The design is also suitable for raw water filtration in generator systems.
For cleaning, the lid is unscrewed, after which the internal filter element can be removed and washed. An octagonal winch-type wrench is included to make opening the lid easier.
A transparent replacement lid with gasket is available under item no. 17.649.08 and a spare stainless steel filter element under item no. 17.649.09.
