The SOLAS 3-blade stainless steel propeller product is a left-hand rotation propeller with a diameter of 16″ and a pitch of 17″. This variant is intended for the documented Mercury Verado and Pro XS engines and is used in conjunction with an engine-specific Rubex hub and mounting kit.
The propeller has three blades and is manufactured from marine-grade stainless steel. The left-hand rotation direction, also designated as LH or L, must be selected in accordance with the required rotation direction of the engine installation. The diameter of 16″ corresponds to 406.4 mm, while 17″ indicates the propeller's nominal pitch and not its physical length.
The hub connection is designed for a 1.25″ propeller shaft with 19 splines. The propeller is used with the separate SOLAS RBX-123 Rubex hub/mounting kit, item no. 52.537.11. The hub system supports through-hub exhaust.
