This SOLAS aluminum outboard propeller is a 3-blade Amita 3 propeller with a diameter of 13.25″, a pitch of 17″, and right-hand (RH) rotation. The propeller features 13 splines and is intended for select Evinrude, Johnson, and Selva engines with a large 4¼″ gearcase.
The propeller is manufactured from aluminum using a squeeze-cast process, which provides stronger propeller blades than traditional die-casting. The Amita 3 design is developed with a focus on good acceleration and top speed. Exhaust is through the hub.
The traditional, pressed-in rubber hub means that the propeller does not require a separate Rubex hub kit. Correct propeller hardware such as a thrust washer, spacer, nut, and cotter pin must be present and match the specific engine or drive.
Compatible engine models
The variant-specific engine application includes the Evinrude E-TEC 40, 50, 60, 75, 90, and 115 hp, as well as Evinrude/Johnson 2-stroke engines of 70, 75, 90, 100, 115, 120, and 140 hp. The propeller can also be used for Selva 2-stroke engines of 70, 80, 90, and 100 hp, provided the engine has the relevant 13-spline propeller shaft and the correct gearcase.
The range of application also includes OMC Model 400 and Cobra drives of 2.3–3.0 liters as well as SeaDrive 1.6–1.8 liters. The engine's gearcase, shaft, leg length, clearance, and original propeller data must be checked, as engine power alone is not sufficient to choose the correct propeller.
Part numbers and cross-references
The manufacturer part number is 2411-133-17. The BRP reference 765183 / 0765183 applies to a corresponding 3-blade 13¼″ × 17″ aluminum propeller. The historical OMC/BRP numbers 382764 / 0382764, 391199 / 0391199, 176214 / 0176214, and 177131 / 0177131 apply to the same dimension and area of application, but should be checked against the engine's original part number before purchase.
After installation, the propeller's clearance to the gearcase and trim tab must be checked. Follow the engine's instructions for lubricating the propeller shaft, tightening torque, and securing the propeller nut. The engine's full-throttle RPM should subsequently be verified, as the correct pitch depends on factors such as boat type, load, and gear ratio.
Always check the engine/drive model, 13-spline shaft, 4¼″ gearcase, and original part number before purchase.
