This SOLAS aluminum propeller for Yamaha outboard motors is an Amita 3 fixed-hub propeller with a diameter of 9.9″, a pitch of 11″, and right-hand rotation. The propeller has three blades and is intended as an aftermarket replacement propeller for documented Yamaha, Mariner, Selva, and Parsun engines with a 3″ gearcase and a 10-spline propeller shaft.
The propeller is manufactured from aluminum using squeeze-casting, which provides an almost non-porous structure with strong and durable propeller blades. The blade design of the Amita 3 series is developed with a focus on acceleration and top speed. The surface has a four-layer coating, and the corrosion protection has been tested for more than 500 hours in a salt spray chamber.
The pressed-in fixed hub directs the engine exhaust through the propeller hub. The hub is not a replaceable Rubex hub, and the propeller must therefore be installed with the correct original mounting hardware or suitable replacement parts. The mounting parts for this propeller group include thrust washer YBTW, spacer YBSP, washer YBWS, nut YBNT, and a 1 1/2″ cotter pin. The total documented kit number is 17032501.
Compatible engine models
Yamaha compatibility includes 20 hp from 1996-1997, 25 hp from 1980 and later, F20 4-stroke from 2018 and later, F25 4-stroke from 1998-2006 as well as 2010 and later, and 30 hp from 1979-2002. The propeller also fits Japanese-produced Mariner engines of Yamaha origin: 25 hp from 1980-1984, 28 hp from 1976-1979, and 30 hp from 1979-1990.
Additional documented compatibility includes Selva 25 hp 4-stroke Moray and King Fish as well as Parsun F20, F25, T20, T25, and T30. Compatibility assumes a 3″ gearcase, 10-tooth spline, and through-hub exhaust.
OEM and cross-references
The manufacturer number is 3211-099-11, also written as 321109911. The propeller is a documented replacement reference for Yamaha OEM 664-45947-01-EL and 664-45947-01-00. Supplementary aftermarket cross-references are Michigan Wheel 22004, Quicksilver/Mercury QA3810R, and Mercury 48-3810T. The nominal dimensions of the Yamaha reference propeller differ slightly from the 9.9 x 11″ of this propeller, so the reference should be treated as a compatible replacement reference and not as identical dimensions.
Always check the engine model, year, gearcase, number of splines, original part number, and the desired pitch before purchase.
