This Solas aluminum propeller for Suzuki outboards is a left-hand rotation propeller from the Amita 3 E Plus series. The variant has a diameter of 15.5″, a pitch of 17″, and is intended for Suzuki four-stroke engines in the 150–250 hp range where the installation requires left-hand rotation.
The propeller has three blades and is manufactured from aluminum using a squeeze-cast process, where the material is cast under pressure. The Amita 3 E Plus series features larger and stronger blades than the standard Amita 3 series and is designed for greater thrust, including use on heavy boats. Solas aluminum propellers also undergo more than 500 hours of salt spray testing.
The hub is designed as a fixed, pressed-in traditional rubber hub with through-hub exhaust. The propeller has 15 splines and is intended for a 4 3/4″ gearcase. This is a fixed-hub design and should not be confused with a Rubex propeller with a replaceable hub.
Documented compatibility includes Suzuki DF150, DF175, DF200, DF225, and DF250 four-stroke engines with a 15-tooth propeller shaft. A 15-tooth shaft alone is not sufficient to determine compatibility; the engine, gearcase, rotation direction, diameter, pitch, and mounting hardware must also match the installation.
Existing original mounting hardware can be reused if it fits the installation. Alternatively, Solas hardware kit 17045501 is documented for the application. Mounting parts are not documented as included. The corresponding right-hand rotation variant with the same diameter and pitch has part no. 52.504.22.
