This SOLAS Amita 3 aluminum propeller for Yamaha outboard engines is a 3-blade, right-hand rotation propeller with a diameter of 13.75" and a pitch of 13". The propeller has 15 splines and is designed for engines with a 4 1/4" gearcase and through-hub exhaust.
The Amita 3 series is manufactured from aluminum using a squeeze-casting process, which provides a stronger construction than traditional die-cast aluminum. The propeller features four layers of paint/coating for corrosion protection, and the series' aluminum propellers have been tested in salt spray for more than 500 hours. This variant is delivered in a high-gloss black finish.
The propeller has a factory-fitted, pressed-in rubber hub. Therefore, a separate interchangeable propeller hub kit is not required for the propeller itself. Correct original mounting hardware or an engine-specific hardware kit is still required. SOLAS 17034501 is intended for selected 50-100 hp Yamaha applications, while SOLAS 17035501 is used for relevant 100-130 hp Yamaha applications.
