This SOLAS Amita 3 aluminum propeller for Johnson/Evinrude and OMC Cobra is a right-hand, 3-blade propeller with a diameter of 14.3″ and a pitch of 21″. The propeller has 15 splines and is intended for the documented group of Johnson/Evinrude outboards and OMC sterndrives.
The propeller is manufactured from aluminum with a wide blade design. The Amita 3 series squeeze-cast process provides a dense, almost non-porous construction with strong and tough propeller blades. The blade design has been developed with a focus on acceleration and top speed, although the actual performance depends on the boat, engine, load, and correct choice of propeller pitch.
The traditional rubber hub is firmly pressed into the propeller, so no separate hub kit is required. The design is intended for a 4¾″ gearcase with through-hub exhaust and a propeller shaft with 15 splines.
The aluminum surface is protected with four layers of paint and coating. The manufacturer's aluminum propellers also undergo salt spray testing for more than 500 hours as part of the corrosion protection.
Compatibility
Fits Johnson/Evinrude 2-stroke engines and Evinrude E-TEC at 130, 150, 175, 200, 225, 250, 275, and 300 hp. The propeller also fits OMC Cobra 800 as well as OMC King Cobra up to and including 1994, when the drive has a 15-spline propeller shaft. The compatibility group does not include Johnson 4-stroke engines with a Suzuki-based gearcase.
OEM and Cross-References
The manufacturer number is 2511-143-21. Documented OEM references are OMC 391202 and BRP 765189. Additional cross-references are Michigan Wheel 11009 and PJ-204-C.
Always check your engine/drive model, gearcase, number of splines, rotation direction, and original part number before purchase.
