This Solas Amita 3 aluminum propeller for Johnson/Evinrude and OMC Cobra is a fixed-hub, 3-blade boat propeller in the size 14.5 × 19″. The propeller is right-hand (RH) rotating and has a 15-spline shaft connection for compatible outboards and sterndrives.
The propeller is manufactured in aluminum using a squeeze-casting process, which provides strong and precisely shaped blades. The three cupped blades are designed for good acceleration and high top speed, while the precision balancing contributes to smooth rotation.
The factory-installed hub features a pressed-in, rubber-cushioned bushing with a brass component. The rubber cushioning absorbs shock and stress during gear shifting. Exhaust is routed through the hub, and a separate interchangeable hub kit is generally not required for this fixed-hub Amita 3 variant.
The black high-gloss finish is applied with four layers of paint. The surface system for Solas aluminum propellers has undergone more than 500 hours of salt spray testing to support corrosion protection in maritime environments.
The propeller fits documented Johnson/Evinrude 2-stroke engines and Evinrude E-TEC at 130, 150, 175, 200, 225, 250, 275 and 300 hp. It is also specified for OMC Cobra 800 as well as OMC King Cobra up to and including 1994, when the drive has a 4¾″ gearcase and a 15-spline propeller shaft.
