This Solas Amita 3 aluminum propeller is a three-blade propeller with a diameter of 14.5", a pitch of 19", and left-hand rotation. The propeller has 15 splines and is intended for documented Yamaha and Selva applications with a 4¾" gearcase.
The propeller is manufactured from aluminum using a squeeze-cast process, which provides a nearly pore-free and robust construction. The Amita 3 series is developed with strong propeller blades and a focus on acceleration and top speed. The surface features four layers of paint and surface treatment and has been salt spray tested for more than 500 hours.
The pressed-in, traditional rubber hub is a fixed part of the propeller. The model therefore does not use a separate Rubex hub system. Exhaust is routed through the propeller hub, and existing original mounting hardware can be reused if it is correct and in usable condition.
Documented Selva compatibility includes the 150 hp Killer Whale, 200 hp Grey Whale, 225 hp Fin Whale, and 250 hp Blue Whale, all four-stroke engines. For engine power exceeding 200 hp, a stainless steel propeller is recommended due to load considerations. This does not change the documented physical compatibility with the specified Selva engines, but should be considered when choosing the propeller material.
The manufacturer number is 3512-145-19, and the documented GFN cross-reference is 724919L. Mounting kit 17035501 with thrust washer, spacer, washer, nut, and cotter pin can be used if the engine's original mounting hardware is missing or needs replacement.
