This SOLAS outboard propeller from the Amita 3 series is a three-blade, right-hand rotation aluminum propeller with a diameter of 7.8″ and a pitch of 7″. The propeller has 12 splines and manufacturer no. 5011-078-07.
The propeller has a fixed, pressed-in rubber bushing and is designed for through-hub exhaust. The traditional fixed hub means it does not use a separate, replaceable hub kit. The engine's correct original mounting parts and installation instructions must be used during installation.
The aluminum construction is manufactured using compression molding, which provides a nearly non-porous structure and strong propeller blades. The surface treatment consists of four layers of paint for corrosion protection, and the aluminum propellers in this series undergo more than 500 hours of salt spray testing.
Documented applications include smaller Mercury and Mariner outboards of 4-6 hp, Tohatsu 5 hp 2-stroke and 4/5/6 hp 4-stroke, as well as Johnson/Evinrude 4-6 hp 4-stroke from 2011. Mechanical compatibility requires a propeller shaft with 12 splines, through-hub exhaust, and sufficient clearance.
The propeller cross-references to Mercury/Quicksilver QA3182R, Mercury 48-812949A02 and 812949A02, as well as BRP 766540/0766540. The cross-references describe separate OEM products with similar size and application.
A correct pitch must be selected based on boat type, load, and the engine's specified full-throttle RPM. Therefore, always check the engine model, year, serial number, number of shaft splines, and original part number before purchase.
