Solas Amita 3 aluminum propeller with fixed rubber hub is a 3-blade, right-hand rotation propeller for select 25-30 hp class outboard motors. This variant has a diameter of 9.9″, a pitch of 10″, and a hub for a 10-spline propeller shaft.
The propeller is manufactured from aluminum using a squeeze casting process, which provides a dense and nearly porosity-free construction. The surface is black-painted and protected with four layers of coating. The Amita 3 series aluminum propellers have passed more than 500 hours of salt spray testing and have been developed with a focus on acceleration and top speed.
The traditional rubber hub is firmly pressed into the propeller, so no separate replaceable hub kit is required. The design is intended for right-hand standard rotation and through-hub exhaust applications. The propeller has three blades and is intended for a 3-inch gearcase with a 10-tooth propeller shaft.
Compatible motor models
The propeller is documented for select Tohatsu 25/30 hp 4-stroke motors from 2007 as well as relevant Nissan applications. It can also be used for Mercury/Mariner 25 and 30 hp 4-stroke, non-BigFoot, from 2006 as well as Honda BF25 from 1994 and BF30 from 1995. The motor must have a 3-inch gearcase, 10-spline propeller shaft, right-hand rotation, and through-hub exhaust.
Installation
During installation, the motor's correct thrust washer, spacer, washer, propeller nut, and cotter pin must be used. For the relevant Tohatsu installation, the original thrust washer, spacer, and washer are used, as well as a TANT propeller nut and 1 1/2″ cotter pin. A separate hub kit is not necessary for this fixed-hub version.
