This Solas Amita 3 aluminum propeller for Selva outboard motors is a right-hand, 3-blade propeller with a 14.5" diameter and a 19" pitch. The propeller features 15 splines and is intended for selected Selva four-stroke engines with a 4¾" gearcase and through-hub exhaust.
The propeller is manufactured from aluminum using a compression molding process, which provides a virtually non-porous construction with strong and durable propeller blades. The Amita 3 series is developed with a focus on acceleration and top speed. The surface has a four-layer coating and has been verified with more than 500 hours of salt spray testing.
The factory-installed, pressed-in rubber hub means that no separate replaceable hub kit is required. The rubber bushing is designed to yield under heavy impact, thereby reducing the risk of damage to the gearcase. The propeller is mounted on a 15-spline propeller shaft using original or compatible mounting hardware.

When used on 225 or 250 hp engines, the suitability of the propeller should be assessed in relation to the boat's load, type of operation, and the engine's recommended RPM range. A stainless steel propeller is generally recommended for engines over 200 hp. The correct pitch also depends on the boat, load, and desired RPM at full throttle.
