This SOLAS Amita 3 aluminum propeller is a 3-blade, right-hand rotation propeller for documented Selva 4-stroke outboard motors. The variant has a nominal diameter of 14.8″, a pitch of 17″, and 15 splines.
The propeller is manufactured from aluminum using a squeeze casting process, which provides a dense and strong casting structure. The Amita 3 series blade geometry is developed for good acceleration and top speed. The black finish has a four-layer coating, and the aluminum propellers have been salt-spray tested for more than 500 hours.
The traditional rubber hub is pressed in from the factory, so the propeller does not require a separate replaceable hub kit. The design is intended for thru-hub exhaust and for a 15-spline propeller shaft in a 4¾″ gearcase.
Selva compatibility includes the Killer Whale 150 hp 4-stroke, Grey Whale and Fin Whale 200/225 hp 4-stroke, as well as the Blue Whale 250 hp 4-stroke. The corresponding Yamaha application category includes 150-200 hp from 1984 and newer with a 4¾″ gearcase, 15 splines, and thru-hub exhaust. For engine power over 200 hp, a stainless steel propeller is recommended.

A related mounting kit for the Yamaha E-application has the number 17035501 and includes components such as a thrust washer, spacer, washer, nut, and cotter pin; original or correctly specified mounting hardware must be used.
Always check the engine's gearcase, 15-spline propeller shaft, rotation direction, and recommended diameter and pitch before purchase. Power alone is not sufficient for choosing the correct propeller.
