This Solas Duoprop stainless steel propeller set for Volvo Penta DP 280/290 is model C5 and consists of a front and a rear propeller. The set is intended for Volvo Penta DP 280 and DP 290 Duoprop drives where C5 is the correct propeller size.
The contra-rotating design combines a 3-blade left-hand rotation front propeller with a 3-blade right-hand rotation rear propeller. The two propellers work as a matched set and are developed for efficient propulsion, good acceleration, and high top speed. The stainless steel construction also provides good resistance to impact and corrosion.
The front propeller has 27 splines, 15″ diameter, and 19″ pitch. The rear propeller has 19 splines and 21″ pitch. The propellers have a pressed-in rubber hub and are designed without through-hub exhaust.
Correct original mounting hardware must be used during installation.
