This Solas outboard propeller from the Amita 3 series is a right-hand rotation, 3-blade aluminum propeller with a diameter of 13.5" and a pitch of 15". The propeller is designed for engines with a 13-spline propeller shaft, a large 4-1/4" gearcase, and through-hub exhaust.
The propeller is manufactured using squeeze-casting, which reduces porosity compared to traditional die-casting. The design features reinforced blades and a traditional, press-fit rubber hub. The Amita 3 series blade geometry is developed with a focus on acceleration and top speed.
The black-painted aluminum has a corrosion-resistant surface treatment with four layers of paint. The aluminum propellers in the series have been tested in a salt spray chamber for more than 500 hours. The fixed rubber hub means that the propeller does not use an interchangeable Rubex hub system.
Compatible engine models
The propeller is documented for Evinrude E-TEC 40, 50, 60, 75, 90, and 115 hp, as well as Evinrude and Johnson 2-stroke engines of 70, 75, 90, 100, 115, 120, and 140 hp. It is also cross-referenced for Selva 2-stroke 70, 80, 90, and 100 hp, as well as Suzuki 2-stroke 70-140 hp and older Suzuki 4-stroke 60 and 70 hp.
Compatibility also includes select OMC Model 400 and Cobra sterndrives with 2.3, 2.5, or 3.0-liter engines as well as OMC SeaDrive 1.6 and 1.8-liter V4. The engine or drive must have a large 4-1/4" gearcase, 13-spline propeller shaft, and through-hub exhaust. Horsepower alone is not sufficient to determine compatibility.

The propeller directly replaces BRP/Evinrude/Johnson OEM no. 0765182, also written as 765182. This OEM number also replaces the previous numbers 0382763, 382763, 0391198, 391198, 0177151, 177151, 0763466, and 763466.
Supplementary products
SOLAS hardware kit 17024501 is a documented Type D mounting kit for this type of propeller with a fixed rubber hub. The kit includes a thrust washer, spacer, castle nut, and cotter pin and is intended for BRP, Johnson, Evinrude, and OMC with a large 4-1/4" gearcase. The kit does not fit Rubex propellers with an interchangeable hub.
