Solas New Saturn stainless steel outboard propeller is a 3-blade, right-hand rotation propeller with a diameter of 10 1/4″ and a pitch of 12″. This variant has manufacturer number 3231-103-12 and is intended for documented Yamaha and Mariner applications with a 3″ gearcase and 10-tooth spline.
The propeller is precision-cast in stainless steel and features the large blade area of the New Saturn series. The design is developed for all-round performance and good acceleration. Exhaust is directed through the propeller hub.
The hub is designed as a traditional, pressed-in rubber hub and therefore does not use a separate replaceable Rubex hub system. The hub designation in the mounting system is YB-RB, no. 170320. Original mounting hardware can be used, and the documented complete hardware kit has number 17032501.
Compatible engine models
Yamaha 20 hp from 1996-1997, Yamaha 25 hp from 1980 and later, Yamaha F20 4-stroke from 2018 and later, Yamaha F25 4-stroke from 1998-2006 as well as from 2010 and later, and Yamaha 30 hp from 1979-2002.
The propeller is also documented for Mariner engines of Japanese Yamaha origin: Mariner 25 hp from 1980-1984, Mariner 28 hp from 1976-1979, and Mariner 30 hp from 1979-1990. Common to these applications is a 3″ gearcase and a 10-tooth spline. Selva compatibility is stated without specific engine or model year information.
Cross-references and mounting parts
Documented aftermarket cross-references include Yamaha 664-45970-00-98, Yamaha MAR-GYT3B-02-12, and Turbo MAR-10112-YR-B0. For the mounting system, the parts YBTW thrust washer, YBSP spacer, YBWS washer, YBNT nut, and a 1 1/2″ cotter pin are specified.
Always check the engine's gearcase, spline count, model, year, and original part number before purchasing. Follow the engine owner's manual during installation.
