Solas New Saturn 3-blade stainless steel propeller is a right-hand rotation propeller for compatible Yamaha outboard motors. This variant has a diameter of 10 3/4", a pitch of 10", and manufacturer part number 3231-108-10.
The propeller has three blades and 10 splines. It is designed for a 3" gearcase platform with through-hub exhaust. The 10" pitch corresponds theoretically to 254 mm of forward movement per revolution without slip, while the 10 3/4" propeller diameter corresponds to approximately 273.1 mm.
The construction consists of stainless steel with a fixed, pressed-in rubber hub. It is therefore not an interchangeable hub system. Right-hand rotation corresponds to the standard rotation for the documented engine platform.
The documented Yamaha compatibility includes 20 hp from 1996-1997, 25 hp from 1980, F20 4-stroke from 2018, F25 4-stroke from 1998-2006 and from 2010, and 30 hp from 1979-2002. The engine installation must have a 3" gearcase, 10-spline propeller shaft, and through-hub exhaust.
Original mounting hardware can be used. For the relevant YB installation group, hardware kit 17032501 and pressed-in rubber hub YB-RB with part no. 170320 are available. The group also includes thrust washer YBTW, spacer YBSP, washer YBWS, nut YBNT, and a 1 1/2" cotter pin.
