This Solas New Saturn 3-blade stainless steel propeller has a diameter of 11 5/8″ and a pitch of 11″. The propeller is designed for select outboard motors and combines three blades with a large blade area, providing all-round performance and good acceleration.
The propeller is precision-cast in stainless steel and manufactured with right-hand rotation. The stainless steel contains chromium, nickel, and molybdenum, which contribute to corrosion resistance and blade stability.
The New Saturn model features a traditional fixed, pressed-in rubber hub with the hub designation YC-RB and hub number 1703301. The exhaust is through-hub, and the shaft engagement has 13 splines. This is the version with a fixed hub and not the Rubex NS3 version with an interchangeable hub.

The corresponding Yamaha group has a 3 1/2″ gearcase, 13 splines, and through-hub exhaust.
Mercury and Mariner: 40, 50, and 60 hp 2-stroke as well as 30, 40, 50, and 60 hp 4-stroke. Tohatsu: 40, 50, and 60 hp 2- and 4-stroke as well as Corsa 2-stroke. Mercury 40 XR, Tohatsu-produced 2-stroke, is also documented. For Tohatsu applications and Mercury 40 XR, mounting kit item no. 52.536.06 is used, corresponding to SOLAS UTC-KT. The mounting kit for other Mercury and Mariner models must be confirmed based on the specific motor.
