This Solas New Saturn 3-blade stainless steel propeller is designed for compatible outboard motors. This variant has a diameter of 11 1/8″, a pitch of 13″, and a 13-spline hub.
The New Saturn series is developed as an all-round propeller with a large blade area and good acceleration. The three blades combine efficient power transfer with a versatile performance profile, while the propeller pitch should be selected based on the boat's load, the engine's gear ratio, and the recommended full-throttle RPM range.
The propeller is manufactured from stainless steel using precision casting. The stainless alloy contains chromium, nickel, and molybdenum, which contribute to corrosion resistance and stable propeller blades. The New Saturn series uses a traditional, pressed-in rubber hub.
Compatible engines
The propeller is compatible with selected Tohatsu 40/50/60 hp 2-stroke and 4-stroke engines as well as the Tohatsu Corsa 2-stroke. It can also be used for the Tohatsu-origin Mercury 40 XR, Mercury/Mariner 40/50/60 hp 2-stroke, and Mercury/Mariner 30/40/50/60 hp 4-stroke.
Other compatibility includes Yamaha 40/50/55 and Top 700 2-stroke, Yamaha 30B and 40F 3-cylinder 4-stroke, Yamaha 40D 4-cylinder 4-stroke, and Yamaha 50/60 hp 4-stroke. The propeller is also specified for Suzuki 40/50/55/60/65 hp 2-stroke and 40/50/60 hp 4-stroke, Honda BF40/BF50/BF60, Johnson/Evinrude 40/50 hp 4-stroke, and selected Selva Manta, Barracuda, Aruana, and Dorado models.
For the relevant Tohatsu and Mercury/Mariner installations, mounting kit 52.536.06, type UTC-KT, is used. The kit is a separate item and should not be expected to be included with the propeller. For the specified Yamaha, Suzuki, Honda, Selva, and Johnson/Evinrude configurations, no separate mounting kit is listed.
