This Solas Rubex HR4 stainless steel 4-blade propeller has a diameter of 14 1/8″, a pitch of 19″, and right-hand rotation. The propeller is made of stainless steel and is intended for high-power outboard motors and stern drives with a suitable motor-specific Rubex hub kit.
The Rubex HR4 series combines high rake with cupped blade edges. The design is engineered to deliver powerful and smooth thrust as well as contribute to stern lift and acceleration. The blade design also supports speed and fuel economy in the engine's mid-range.
The propeller uses an interchangeable Rubex/RBX rubber hub instead of a permanently pressed-in hub. The elastic hub helps dampen vibrations and shocks in the drivetrain, while the interchangeable system makes it possible to adapt the propeller body to different engines and drives. The exhaust is directed through the hub, and the system is suitable for saltwater use.
Installation requires a compatible, motor-specific RBX hub kit. The documented applications use a 15-spline shaft and include, among others, engines and drives with a 4 3/4″ gear case.
