Rigid polyethylene black water tank with hull chamfer is a 50 l holding tank for the collection of black water on board. The chamfered underside makes the tank shape suitable for placement against the boat's hull.
The tank is moulded in medium-density polyethylene (PE MD) with a documented wall thickness of 4.5 mm. The robust polyethylene construction limits the permeation of unpleasant odours. The colour is blue.
The nominal product dimensions are 550 mm in length, 430 mm in width and 290 mm in height. The height includes the hull-fitting chamfer. The product weight is 4 kg.
On the two end faces, there are a total of four 1 1/2" GAS female threads and four 3/4" GAS female threads for the installation of inlets, discharge and venting. The top of the tank also has a 3/8" GAS thread and an inspection plug with an expanded neoprene gasket. The function of the 3/8" thread depends on the installation and is not specified.
The tank is manufactured in accordance with ISO 8099. Suitable fittings are selected separately according to the installation's hoses, piping and desired placement of inlets, discharge and venting.
