This blackwater tank with horizontal macerator and hose connectors has a net volume of 91 l and is intended for the collection and discharge of blackwater from marine toilet systems. The factory-fitted electric macerator is powered by 12 V DC and shreds toilet waste before pumping it out.
The tank is delivered pre-assembled and ready for installation. It can be connected to both manual and electric marine toilets and has two Ø38 mm connection points, a Ø16 mm hose connector for venting, and a Ø25 mm outlet from the macerator.
An integrated shut-off valve between the tank and the macerator makes it possible to remove the pump for servicing. The tank is also pre-fitted with a five-hole flange for a level sensor, protection around the sensor, and space for a float with a maximum length of 25 cm. Level sensor is not included.
The product dimensions are 1050 × 390 × 300 mm. Molded mounting recesses make the tank suitable for use with the optional mounting plate with item no. 52.195.00. The tank is manufactured in accordance with ISO 8099.
The included self-priming macerator 50.220.12 has a nominal flow of 43 l/min and delivers 23 l/min at a 3 m lift height. It can self-prime up to 0.6 m and is intended for intermittent operation with a maximum of 15 minutes of continuous operation. The macerator has a power consumption of 12 A and is CE-compliant according to ISO 8846 and EU Directive 2013/53/EU.
The macerator must be connected with correct polarity, a separate electrical circuit, and a correctly sized fuse. For outlets below the waterline, a correctly vented loop is required. The pump is designed for toilet waste and toilet paper, but not for hard objects, cloths, or hygiene products. The tank and pump should be rinsed thoroughly with water after emptying, and the pump must be switched off as soon as a change in pump sound indicates that the tank is empty. Replacement impeller 16.193.73 is documented for the included macerator.
