Quicksilver Champion RA8HC Copper Plus spark plug is a resistor spark plug for select Mercury and Mariner EFI 4-stroke outboard engines. The spark plug is marketed by Quicksilver under part number 33-883323001 and is manufactured by Champion according to Mercury Marine's OEM specifications.
The RA8HC spark plug features a copper core center electrode, which improves heat dissipation, as well as a zirconia-reinforced insulator. The resistor type reduces radio frequency interference for electronic equipment on board. The design has a gasket seat and a threaded, removable terminal.
Compatibility includes 35/40 Jet and 40/50/60 EFI SeaPro 4-stroke with four cylinders from serial number 1C453840, 30/40 EFI 4-stroke with three cylinders from 0T409000, as well as 40 EFI 4-stroke with three cylinders in the serial number range 1B227000-1B355027. The spark plug is also used for documented 40/50/60 EFI 4-stroke models with four cylinders in the ranges 0T409000-1C050251 and 1C050252-1C453839, as well as Formula 60 4-stroke from 1C104574.
The spare part corresponds to Champion RA8HC and Champion 810 and replaces the former Mercury numbers 33-810B, 33-883323, and 33-810C.
