The V-CAM 814 has a box made of UV-resistant plastic with steel reinforcement, an aluminum base, V-jaw mechanism and bushings made of stainless steel Aisi 316. The rope can be inserted with the handle closed and the jaw mechanism guarantees easy opening even under heavy loads. The V-jaws are large and have high holding power with minimal wear on the rope stock.
